What is the Community Health Movement all about?
The Community Health Movement is a patient-centred approach to healthcare. Individualized planning and care is taken to understand what is going on with each patient's unique needs and goals to help guide them along their journey to a more pain-free, vibrant life.

Community is such an important part of the healing process. We want
to foster a community of like-minded people to create a safe and welcoming
environment for all. Joining together with those that are on a similar path may help us
to overcome greater obstacles, challenge ourselves when we otherwise would not and
develop relationships that grow us to new heights. Community can be a tremendous
impetus for change and growth. And sometimes our pain, in whatever form it manifests,
helps guide us to the people we were meant to meet in order to for true healing to
occur.

We believe that your health is the number one thing you can invest in. With health and
vitality our body and mind are primed to fully realize our goals and dreams and
contribute to the lives of others. But when we do not invest in our health, we still pay a
great price. Whether it is more immediate, or seemingly sneaks up on us, when health
issues come along it can have a profound impact on all aspects of our lives. Taking a pro-
active approach to the factors that you can control, like nutrition, movement, habits,
mindset and many other factors, that are the basis of health can drastically shift your
health in a positive direction.

Movement, in this case, has a double-word meaning. The more immediate one that
comes to mind is the kind where we move our bodies, which is certainly beneficial at
varying levels of intensity, frequency, and variety. The other also requires us to move in a
particular direction. The kind of movement that changes the world, or at least part of it.
In regards to healthcare, this refers to individualized treatment, patient-centred focus,
listening to what matters to you, developing relationships and narrowing down the
causes of what has affected your health. A lot of these variables are missed by the
conventional model. That is why we are different. To help those that have been passed
along through the system, never getting the help they crave and deserve.
